A small puzzle. No rush.

  1. Pick a clue. Tap a clue or an empty square. Tap a crossing again to change direction.
  2. Fill in a word. Tap a square to type with your physical keyboard. On a touchscreen, tapping a square opens your device keyboard. Spaces and punctuation are ignored.
  3. Take a little help. Check marks incorrect filled letters. Reveal fills the selected letter. Both count as help on your result.

Arrow keys move around the grid. Tab from the grid moves to the next clue; Shift+Tab goes back. Escape leaves the grid. There’s no timer or score to chase.

Every white square belongs to an across and a down answer. Crossings give you a second way in.

Daily answers and help used save only in this browser. No account is required. Clearing site data, private browsing or changing devices can remove or separate your progress. We do not upload your answers or use analytics.
